Some people have very strong and negative opinions on the topic of marijuana and those who smoke it. I do not. I let my friends do what they will as long as they continue to be good human beings they will always be my friend.

Now, I have a few friends who smoke marijuana and it is quite humorous being their friends.

When you are a friend of someone who smokes but you yourself do not, your friends usually gather around and invite you to make sure that they don't do anything dumb.

They share the stories of their high adventures and you can't help but chuckle at the stupidity. Sometimes, you wonder how they've made it this far in life without severely hurting themselves.

They smile and laugh which makes you laugh along. They get super excited when you offer them a bottle of water or some snacks.

When the idea of ordering food comes up, the whole group rallies together to figure out what to get. Then they have you order for them, just in case they stumble on their words, blank out, or forget.

If there are pets around, you aren't surprised when the friends sit down around your pet just to give them attention. "He is so soft!" They usually cry despite this being the thousandth time they've given the pet some love.

You sit on your phone as you listen to their stories and adventures. They often get off track and you have to jog their memory about where the story left off just so that you can learn the end of the tale.

The best moment is when everyone just shares a glance and bursts into laughter and you are left there to pry out why they're laughing. As they try their best to explain, their words are broken apart by more laughter and gasps for air, making you laugh along.

It is very fun and rewarding to be the non-smoker friend of a stoner.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
