During the heart of cuffing season, everybody who is single tries to get together with another person and "cuff" them before the summer months.

What's the point in dating someone just for a couple months? Hello, extra gifts. I mean who doesn't like those?

Yes, it might seem awesome to have someone to tell your whole family about when they ask if you're seeing anyone.

And, yes, getting extra gifts is always nice.

So, why would you want to stay single during the holidays? That reason I'm about to tell you.

Freetime

Being free during the holidays is the best. You don't have to worry about anybody besides yourself.

You can go shopping, get food whenever you want.

Plus during the holiday break, you have plenty of extra time to binge watch any Netflix show you want.

Or you can just lay in bed and be as lazy as you want.

Guys/Girls Night

During the holiday season, you usually try and plan a couple days to get together with your friends as everyone is off doing their own thing.

When your single, you don't have to worry at all about making these plans or feel bad for making these plans.

No guilt attached when you're single.

Saving Money

This has to be the best part of being single during the holidays. You have so much extra cash to do whatever you want with.

Instead of having to buy your significant other a gift, you can go and spend the money on that gift you've always wanted that you know your parents aren't going to get for you.

We all know the holiday season is the most expensive time of the year.

You can go see all the awesome holiday things for half the price as if you were in a relationship.

No Christmas Photos

For those that aren't so photogenic, this is awesome.

You don't have to worry about taking those awkward Christmas pictures with your significant other. Then you have to stress about finding the perfect caption for Instagram.

It's oh so nice not to have to do this.

No dealing with SO's family

During the holiday season is the probably the best time for those in a relationship to introduce you to their family.

This is a very awkward situation no matter what your significant other might say.

They say that they'll stay with you the whole time, but we know that they're going to go off and you'll be stuck hanging out with the other guys/girls.

Being surrounded by your own family is way better than one that you've just met

More Leftovers

One less person to share the leftovers with, cha-ching!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
