Being called to standards is one of the worst experiences in Greek life. Someone either really messed up, or it is (hopefully) and misunderstanding. For those who are lucky to have never been called to standards, maybe you can get a glimpse into what it is like.
1. When the actual deed has been done.
OK, maybe punching someone in the face is a little extreme, but it definitely can get you called to standards.
2. When you get the dreaded email.
You can act like this:
or this:
3. Time to contemplate what will happen.
4. The day of your meeting is here.
Sunday has finally arrived, and the meeting is driving you crazy just thinking about it.
5. Your friends have to reassure you before you go in.
They can only give you advice to be yourself and to tell the truth. However, your feelings might be a little different.
6. Your thoughts during the meeting.
Sometimes your mind wanders, but you also can't worry about the haters.
7. When the punishment isn't as bad as you thought.
#blessed
8. Or if the punishment is worse than you thought...
9. You have to now make an excuse to why you can't go out.
Social probation really sucks....
10. When you are trying to be good and have your punishment relieved early.
Being punished really sucks, so maybe there is something you can do to make it shorter.
11. It only seems like a matter of time that you are sent another email to go back to standards.
They just saw you! Can't they let you be for one moment?
