Some of the "good stuff" has transpired on "Basketball Wives" for our viewing pleasure. Yes. They did it. Shaunie and Evelyn were the first two members in the circle to be shown getting high in Amsterdam. They met up with Shaunie's business partner, Turk and inhaled through what looked like a giant plastic bag. Apparently, they inhaled the marijuana through vaporizers. They were so high from marijuana that they didn't know what was going on when they visited the marijuana museum. The other women went to the countryside of Amsterdam.

Kristen finally told CeCe that she was livid about the going ons in the family. Remember that CeCe is dating Malaysia's cousin, Byron. Kristen is married to Thomas, who is Byron's son. Got that straight? Well, Kristen was upset about an text message that CeCe's boyfriend, Byron (he's Thomas' father) wrote about attending family functions, and Kristen was angry that Byron (her daughter's grandfather) wasn't visiting his granddaughter although he lives in the same neighborhood. It sounds like they live right down the street. CeCe was completely in the dark about Kristen's feelings over their inattentiveness.

CeCe thought that the text that she'd forwarded to Kristen was simply a little helpful information, so that Kristen would know how Byron was feeling. See, Byron felt that he had to pay too often when they go out together, and the message to CeCe said that he didn't want to invite Kristen and Thomas out to certain events anymore. So, CeCe told Kristen and the rest of the group that she didn't invite Kristen to her birthday gathering, because she thought that Kristen was busy. She'd invited Kristen out to a few events before but had been turned down. Kristen said that she wasn't busy. She had been to the birthday party in previous years, and she certainly wasn't busy during the most recent birthday gathering. The real reason that Kristen and Thomas weren't invited to the party was because of the feelings communicated in that text message.

There was some good news. Evelyn apologized to CeCe for calling her Lee Lee. CeCe accepted the apology, but said she'll keep her distance from Evelyn.

The real drama is still yet to come on Basketball Wives. Although Jennifer has made it to Amsterdam, she hasn't had her talk (or confrontation) with Shaunie and Malaysia. Both Shaunie and Malaysia have shunned Jennifer for allegedly spreading rumors. Jennifer says that she now has some receipts (proof) to prove that she didn't spread the rumors, but that the whole situation was masterminded by Tami, who is still back in the United States living her life with her family. So, we have to wait another week to see Malaysia get mad enough to through a table at Jennifer. And the sneak peaks is leading us to believe that even Evelyn gets ticked off at Jennifer, but we won't know about that one until we watch the upcoming episodes of Basketball Wives.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
