Calling all 21+ broke college students with a passion for drafts and crafts!

Since I recently turned 21 over the summer, I've been determined to find the best beer deals near UCF. I love craft beer, but I don't love how most places charge you $7 for one. However, there are tons of great happy hours you probably didn't know about. After going to several places during happy hour and trying out their craft beers, here is my top four choices for HH and a few of my beer suggestions.

1. World of Beer

What better place to start than World of Beer? And that's where I did. I checked out WOB on a Friday around 5 o'clock during their daily happy hour, which runs Monday through Friday from 3-7. On the HH menu is a selection of $4 Draughts, as well as $5 apps and $6 wines, if you aren't a beer person (gasp!). I chose an American Blonde Ale from the list called the Funky Buddha Pineapple Beach. Funky Buddha is a Florida brewing company based in Boca Raton and they have some great, unique craft beer selections. For $4, I thought it was pretty amazing. I've been back a few times since to get another. WOB also offers weekly deals including "WOB U Wednesdays" with half-off select drafts and other drink specials starting at 9 p.m. In addition, they host a Trivia Night on Sundays at 8 p.m., and they have a $5 burgers and brats deal on Mondays.

2. Miller's Ale House

Most college students have been to Miller's (most likely for a Mountain Melt). However, they are running some great beer deals during football season that you won't want to miss out on. All day, every day, they are serving $8 Miller Lite pitchers, which I have been frequenting on Sundays. In addition, their happy hour runs from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday and includes a $1 drink of the day and $5 all drinks. That's a happy hour that's hard to beat!

3. Lazy Moon

Lazy Moon has a lot more to offer than just ginormous pieces of pizza. They serve dozens of craft beers, as well as $1 PBR's all day. Yes, only $1! They even have a meal deal called the "Boxcar Willie" which includes a slice of pizza and pint of PBR for only $5. You bet I got my hands on that deal when I heard about it, and man was it worth it. I've always loved Lazy Moon, but I love it a little bit more now that I'm 21.

4. The Brass Tap

The Brass Tap is located in Waterford and specializes in craft beer. Their happy hour is definitely something to hype up. Monday through Friday from 4-7, they offer $4 pints as well as $7 flights of beer. I would recommend trying one of the flights, because you'll get to test out a variety of different craft beers and see which you favor. They also host Trivia Night on Wednesday where you can win bar tabs and drinks. In addition, Thursday is Ladies Day, with $4 pints and other drink specials all day long. Woohoo!
