It's that dreadful time of year again. It's the moment that gives every Baylor student anxiety. It's that time where your "refresh" button almost breaks and your fingers have never typed faster. It's April, meaning it's time to register for fall semester classes.

Every semester, you think the process will get better.

Every semester, you think you won't have to be waitlisted for three classes.

Every semester, you truly and honestly think you won't have to take that horrendous 8 a.m. course.

And yet, every semester, you will undoubtedly experience the most stressful process imaginable.

Rory Gilmore from "Gilmore Girls" is probably the dictionary definition of stress when it comes to anything college.

Without further ado, here are the 11 stages of registering for classes at Baylor, as told by Rory Gilmore.

1. When your alarm goes off at 5:50 a.m. so you can register at exactly 6:00 a.m.

2. When you log on to BearWeb 5 minutes before your registration time and realize there's only one spot left in the class

3. When you frantically look up potential professors on BUBooks to make sure you're not making a terrible mistake

4. When you realize the only available professor has a rating below 70 on BUBooks

5. When you promised yourself you would NEVER take another 8 a.m. and can visualize yourself crying every morning next semester when you realize it's inevitable

6. When it's one minute before you're allowed to register and your heart starts racing from anxiety

7. When you type in every CRN number when it's finally time to register, but you're immediately waitlisted

8. When you resort to choosing a list of random classes and realize that this was nothing like you originally planned

9. When your friends text you to say they got all of the classes they wanted

10. When you realize your crush actually registered for the same class as you, and next semester won't be so terrible after all

11. When you finally come to terms with your schedule and mentally prepare for next semester

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
