Different types of badminton rackets

There are several different types of badminton rackets to choose from, depending on your skill level, play style, and comfort. Keep in mind that all badminton equipment is sold separately; you'll have to purchase a pair of rackets before you can play with a partner. Badminton Rackets are most commonly divided into three categories: lightweight rackets, ultra-lightweight rackets, and standard weight badminton rackets. Standard weight badminton rackets weigh 175-185 grams while ultra-lightweight racket weighs less than 160 grams (depending on model). Lightweight racket weighs 135-155 grams (depending on model).

The different types of badminton shuttlecocks

When you get ready to play badminton, you have several options when it comes to choosing your shuttlecock. It can be a confusing process for beginners who are still getting their footing in a sport that is all about flight. Hopefully, we can help clear things up for you by providing some background on common types of shuttlecocks and describing how they're used. So, let's start with looking at celluloid-covered shuttlecocks. They offer what many people describe as a classic feel but are now considered outdated by most players because they wear out more quickly than plastic or rubber-coated badminton shuttles.

Bags & Other Gear

It’s easy to find yourself at a loss when it comes to what kind of bags or other gear you should get. There are so many different kinds of racquets, shoes, bags, stringing, etc. that it can feel like all you’re doing is throwing money away. This is especially true for people who take up tennis late in life or when there’s little time between learning about tennis and heading out to play with friends. So before you spend too much money on gear that you won’t end up using, remember that having fun playing tennis matters more than anything else—you can always replace your gear later on.

Playing Badminton – General Tips

Playing badminton regularly has a number of benefits. The sport can help you get fit, let off steam, relieve stress, connect with your community and enjoy a fun physical activity with your friends. However, it’s not always easy to find other people who are keen to play badminton – particularly if you live in an area where there isn’t much of a tradition for playing. This can lead to regular cancellations or long gaps between getting together to play. There is a way around these problems though: getting into some sort of badminton club . The most obvious advantage of joining a club is that it gives you somewhere to regularly go for games that are organised by someone else – so no more hassle about finding space or players.

Where to Play?

If you’re new to an area, looking for a way to stay active, or just want to try something new, finding a local badminton club or tennis club can help. Sports are a great way to keep in shape, spend time with friends, and have fun—but they don’t all have to be played professionally. Check out your options near you with services like Groupon that often offer deals on lessons or court time for both sports. These group activities can be good for beginners of all ages.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
