Autumn Is The Best Season Of All

The gentle touch of pure autumn steals the sweltering heat of summer. Waking up in the darkness, hearing noisy chirps outside your fogged up window, while embracing that brand new start. Crisp air, pretty colorful leaves, and pumpkin flavored everything. The world looks so serine and the beauty of nature during this time of year completely takes your breath away. Brewing that pumpkin flavored cup of coffee in the morning, and lighting that sweet cinnamon candle to fulfill that oak and maple aroma within your home. Falling in love with the blessing of another mystical day. Expressing your kindle and vibrant soul to touch and illuminate every person and creature you encounter.

Sitting in that lonely cafe all bummed out with your glasses and beanie on, when suddenly you look up and are starstruck by someone who you immediately feel utterly entranced by. Falling for that someone, with an air of unknown mystery and wild fire within their bones that exhibits pure goodness in their glassy eyes that has a thousand alluring stories intertwined into their soul. These stories that embody their chaotic mind and heart, needed someone who could open these locked doors if you had that key who could understand their storm. You wanted to save and become apart of this soul that you knew battled and fiercely conquered everyone else's hurricanes; except for their own. Fearing that discovering someone's deepest roots that has several unspoken branches, are just as worshipped as all of the spoken ones. Questioning how you two interconnected with a brief passing, with all of those quick rush of emotions that you felt when your hands interlaced flawlessly, that shy but soft voice that swept you away, and that un-doubtful yearning to be close to one another.

The calm brush of that evening breeze, with the crackling scent of bonfires burning. The smell of the ashy smoke filling your lungs, while filling your mouth with crunchy and crumbly graham crackers, oozing with a gooeyness treat; s'more. While sitting around a campfire all bundled up with big hoodies and comfy, cozy sweaters, filled with endless laughs, bright smiles, and steaming, roasting, and chocolatey hot cocoa over flowing in your two hands. Encompassing the silence of no-one speaking and hearing the mosquitoes and fireflies high-pitched sounds, while cusping one another for warmth, immeasurable intimacy and undeniable affection that you crave. Cracked and broken separately, but whole and ignited together as one. Falling carelessly into a world of mystery.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
