The Authenticity of the World

What have we become?

The Authenticity of the World

Why are we here? What’s the point? Just to suffer?

We live in a world where it is hard to be sure of the authenticity of authenticity. With people who mean well, but neglect to mean anything. Or people who refuse to act as they mean to.

They’re taking it all from us, and even worse, Trump is now saying he will help us, with his new slogan “I’m with you, the American people.”

With this wording he proves that the American people are weak. That they would fall to bigotry and the ignorance of an orange man. His black heart is fed through pride, and his words, they kill.

He’s out for revenge on the world. Now is one of the most important times, I cannot attest to times I have witnessed, but those times have come to pass.

A generation of old people, who were doing what they thought was right. Left us broken, the eagles of freedom carry our words. We disregard the soul, claiming we have proof of a God that doesn’t exist. But people live like this, in denial, not in understanding.

We need to choose love, which is the only understanding that is authentic.

Authenticity comes from understanding, when someone fully understands, they will do what is right.

We lay to rest a brighter past, we can’t show you what we see. Our hope turns into doubt.

We had the chance to stop it, and we still do, but so many people live in fear. So many people have become pawns on a moral playing field.

They go to work, they do their job, and then they retire, and they die. No significant progress has been made in this realm for some time.

The Phantom Pain the term refers to a limb that’s no longer there that can still be felt. In a different interpretation, Hideo Kojima’s and KONAMI’s Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Brings this very idea to light.

The pain of what we were, and what we could be, we let it define us. Yet to be free, we must see what is beyond it all.

Trump and their supporters, they can’t be made to see it, and yet they have to be. Some people are incapable of understanding the deep workings of existence, and these are the people who have caused us great problems.

These people can think that they’re authentic, yet they’re not, they don’t care about what they say, they don’t mean any of it. They want something, they’re trying to get something.

We all watch a circus of fools to fight to control the wise. We’re all nothing more than demons.

Religions will speak to you of heaven, but they’re all just interpretations of a bigger picture that we’re too blind to see.

Eventually we lose our authenticity, because we stop caring. We stop understanding, and we disregard others.

The thing that has stopped humanity most, and our greatest danger is ego. But that is for a different time. Somewhere out there there’s still a candle that’s lit. Reminding us to never stop fighting for good.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
