With the spread of the coronavirus, social distancing is the new norm for now in order to keep ourselves and everyone else healthy. Staying away from your friends and favorite places can be hard for some that are used to being out and doing things all the time. To solve the problem or boredom, I created a list of fun and unique things to do inside with family members who love competition.

1. Cooking Competition

If you love to cook and want to put your skills to the test, having a fun cooking competition will pass the time!


2. Painting Competition

Get a simple photo online, and see who can paint it best!


3. Hide and Seek

Who doesn't love this classic children's game?


4. "Just Dance" Competition

Bring out your old "Just Dance" games for your Xbox and see who can dance best while also getting a workout.


5. Tik Tok

Create your own fun Tik Tok videos that will bring laughter and great memories, and see who can get the most views!


6. "Minute To Win It"

Play some great "Minute To Win It" games with your family. You can use your favorite games from the old TV show, get the board game online, or just make up your own games!

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
