Welcome to the second segment of "Meet The Reporter."
Our team of writers at ASU Odyssey will be writing monthly "Meet The Reporters" as an effort to make things fun for our readers and let you get to know us!
What pushed me to enroll in an in-state university was my interest in furthering my education without completely altering my comfort levels. My only brother had just turned one at the time and proximity to my family was a must. I figured I'd roll with the punches with a major in engineering, and aerospace engineering for that matter!
Shortly after rolling with said punches, during my second semester of college, I changed my major to journalism and mass communication. I was always more of a people person than a formulas and science one. I wished to interact with the world on a daily basis and learn about the opportunities one of the leading schools in journalism had to offer.
Not only did I learn how to tell my own stories, but the stories of others as well through different mediums. I hope someday to tell a story on the big screen as a filmmaker, but the future's uncertain with as many methods that are being created each day focusing on creative expression. Until then, catch me writing about them everywhere I go!
