As college students, we are often hit with these random times when we think we have our lives together, but we soon realize we know nothing and we are nothing. Sometimes those moments are actually really great and we learn something, but a lot of times it just helps us realize we're still just kids.
Here are the dirty details of the times college kids thought they had it together.
1. "That ONE day where everything actually goes well." - Kelly
2. "When I got my Erin Condren planner." - Julia
3. "Hands down when I declared my major. Plot twist: I'd change it multiple times and go to grad school for something completely unrelated" - Bri
4. "The night I started a load of laundry after going out. I even threw my neighbor's clothes in to be helpful. I found the clothes about a week later in a mildewy pile on top of the washer, because guess who forgot to put them in the dryer." - Maria
5. "I feel like my life is together when I'm not stressed because of school or anything bad that has happened in my life. I feel like I'm doing great when the depression, anxiety, or stress hasn't hit yet." - Kierra
6. "When I decided which college to attend, then I actually took college classes and did not have life together." - Caroline
7. "I thought I had my life together when I made an A on an exam first semester... freshman year. LOL." - Shelby
8. "When I was nearing college graduation. It wasn't bad, but it just didn't go according to how I figured it would." - Kady
9. "When my room is SPOTLESS and I have it completed by 4 pm.... which is barely never." - Raegan
10. "I studied nonstop for my Econ exam for like an entire week. Did 6 practice exams and put so much effort into it. Came out of the exam called my parents and said I for sure knew half the exam, but I was sure I got like a 70. Nope, I was wrong. I literally knew half the exam and got a 50." - Jessie
11. "I don't think I can remember the last time I had 'it' together, college ruins that." - Jordan
12. "I thought I had my life together was my freshman year of college. It was coming to the end of the semester and I had to turn in a big writing portfolio for my writing 121 class. It comes to the day to turn it in and I thought I did amazing! But when I got it back the next week my professor basically failed me because my writing style did not improve much over the course of the semester. I thought my writing had actually had improved a lot over the semester but boy was I wrong. There was no rewriting the essays because that was my only and final grade for that class." - Kelsey
And that is that, from barely keeping our rooms clean to actually making it through college - these truly are the best of times and the worst of times.
