Every writer has their own individual style of writing. Writers can be most creative in the morning or at night. Some writers are dark in what they write and some are bright and uplifting.
As a writer, I am very sporadic and personal. When I am given a prompt, so many different ideas, angles, and ways to support my thoughts come all at once! This can make my writing seem to be all over the place. Most times, I will make a web to jot my ideas down, but sometimes I simply can not wait that long. I write notes all over the page to give me cues when I lose my train of thought. Then, I start writing; I will not stop until the thought is complete. If given an essay topic, I will go straight to it and only stop when it is finished. When I go to revise my work, sometimes there will be tense shifts, grammar mistakes, and ideas that end up repeating themselves. I have a good base paper, yet it needs some cleaning up before it is finished. Usually, I catch these mistakes in my papers, but having peers look them over helps to eliminate the errors. My writing is also very personal. When I write, I like to give my readers something to relate to. I enjoy incorporating my opinions, emotions, and personal experiences into my writing whenever possible. As a sporadic and personal writer, I get involved in my work and, sometimes, I need another set of eyes to revise it.
