They're bound to make you smile.

We all have our moods where we want to listen to a specific kind of music and only that specific kind. Here are a few of my recommendations for when you're feeling that way, especially on a long trip when you need music to keep you entertained.

If you want to sleep...

We all need our beauty rest. If you're in the mood to nap on your next long trip to your awaited destination, be sure to check out bands like Coldplay, Sleeping at Last, Ed Sheeran, Mumford and Sons, and Frank Ocean. They're all bound to help you relax. Some songs that I recommend are Kiss Me by Ed Sheeran, Where are You Now by Mumford and Sons, and Lost by Frank Ocean.

If you're feeling hyper...

Listen to some EDM (Electric Dance Music). It always motivates me, wakes me up, and makes me want to get up and dance. The Chainsmokers, Alesso, Tiesto, Steve Aoki and Avicii are all incredible options when you're in the mood to dance, even if its just from your car seat.

If you're in the mood to jam out to some classics...

There are some songs that just make you want to sing more than others. My favorites happen to be Love Story by Taylor Swift, Cruise by Florida Georgia Line, Caroline by Amine, Disturbia by Rihanna...I could go on forever.

If you're in the mood for hip-hop or rap...

We all have our "I have a huge desire to rap right now" kind of moments, don't we? Childish Gambino, Chance the Rapper, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar are just a few of my favorites. Whether it is from 2017 or 1990, rap lyrics are bound to make you think.

If you want a bit of a throwback...

Jamming out to throwbacks from the 60's, 70's and 80's during a long ride really helps the time fly by, and even better, you can jam out with your parents. Songs like Livin' on a Prayer, Eye of the Tiger and I Will Survive are the first few that came to my mind. This list of throwbacks could honestly and probably go on forever, and would probably consist of the majority of songs that were played at your Bar Mitzvah.

If you want to go ten, twenty years back...

Green Day. The Backstreet Boys. Justin Timberlake. Kelly Clarkson. Alicia Keys. Avril Lavigne. Britney Spears. P!nk.

If you're in the mood to smile...

Songs like Unwritten or Pocketful of Sunshine by Natasha Bedingfield, Tide is High by Blondie, and So What by P!nk are all bound to keep you feeling your happiest.

If you're just trying to chill...

Groups like Lorde, Hozier, Adele and Two Door Cinema Club all provide you with good feels, but also keep you feeling relaxed, content and joyful with life.

This spring break, download Spotify or iTunes and dedicate some time to listening to new music. Make a playlist before you go out for a long trip and I can guarantee you that the ride will go much faster. Make different ones for different moods or times of day, and share your music taste with your friends and try listening to groups that they like. You're bound to be happier if you find yourself in your music.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
