Goodbye Friday, a band from northern New Jersey, may not be on the charts (yet), but they certainly aren't going unnoticed. Consisting of four members, including Rocco Costanza (vocals), Aaron Henriquez (guitar/vocals), Brett Pezza (lead guitar) and Anthony Arci (drums), they are a "real band" and one that's definitely worth taking a listen to. With a growing fanbase the four members have left an impression with every show, cover and the first original song they've released.
Their first single "She" was released on April 1, with a music video to go with it. Though they have yet to put their music on platforms such as iTunes and Spotify, you can expect to find them there when they put out their first full album by the end of 2016. In the meantime, feel free to watch their various covers, including Justin Bieber's "What Do You Mean," One Direction's "Perfect" and Zayn's "Pillowtalk."
Why are they the next big thing? While their style is comparable to a mashup of Zayn and Maroon 5, the four are ready to fill the void of what the radio needs: a full band with actual instrument skills and a modern pop sound ready to top the charts. Oh yeah, they're also opening up for Chris Brown, so though they may be from a small Jersey town, they're climbing their way up quickly. They also spilled the news that they were just added onto some other major national acts, so be on the lookout for their official announcement!
Of course, this is only the beginning. And while this may be your first time hearing about Goodbye Friday, I promise it won't be the last.
