Ahh April, the month college students both dread and look forward to. It's the last full month before the end of the semester, which also means a month chock full of endless assignments, countless all-nighters, and an abundance of coffee to help get you through. And with the thought of Summer being right around the corner, it's just enough if not the only thing to kind of get you through this terrible month.

But don't worry, you're favorite Pawnee resident April Ludgate is here to get you through it because she can relate to the pain and suffering just as much as you.

1. When your professors decide to all schedule big assignments that are due during the same week

2. ...And when they also decide to throw brand new information at you that you need to learn for that big test in a couple of weeks but your mind is already clocked out

3. When the overwhelming stress has you rethinking if school is even worth it anymore and resort to plan B

4. When professors throw more work at you

5. ...But you just say "Screw it" and binge watch a show on Netflix instead

6. ...Only to find yourself pulling an all-nighter because you neglected that said assignment until the very last minute

7. Trying to ask professors for extra credit

8. When you're trying to get work done at the library but everyone's being anything but quiet

9. When you haven't even started your paper yet and the annoying classmate you sit near tells you how they already finished it

10. When all your friends don't have as much work as you and go out all the time and continuously ask you to join them even though you tell them you can't

11. When you get to your last assignment and have lost all your motivation

12. When you finally turn in your last assignment for the semester and can now celebrate

13. Only to realize you're not officially done because you still have finals and you can't neglect those because your future depends on them

Happy April, you'll get through it!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
