Here's Everything You Need To Know About Apple's Newest iPhones

On October 13th, Apple introduced the newest iPhone models: iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Here's everything you need to know to choose your next new iPhone.

Let's get technical.

As stated on Apple's website, the iPhone 12 has 5G speed, A14 Bionic (a faster chip), an edge-to-edge OLED display, Ceramic Shield (a tougher glass), and Night mode on every camera.

The iPhone 12 mini essentially has the same features as the iPhone 12, only its display is 0.7 inches smaller, it has two less video playback hours, and it has a slightly different resolution. It is marketed as "The world's smallest, thinnest, lightest 5G phone."

Both phones come in 5 colors: blue, green, red, white and black.

The iPhone 12 Pro, on the other hand, has 5G speed, A14 Bionic chip, Ceramic Shield, LiDAR Scanner for more realistic AR, and a Pro camera system optimized for low light.

The iPhone 12 Pro Max contains the same features as the 12 Pro, except its display is .6 inches bigger, the optical zoom range is 1x higher, it has 3 more hours of video playback, and the resolution is different.

The iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max come in graphite, silver, gold and pacific blue.

Additionally, all four of the devices contain a new feature called MagSafe, "a new ecosystem of accessories for easy attachment and faster wireless charging."

If these technical terms don't make much sense, don't worry. Here is a chart comparing the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12, to better visualize the new features.

The main differences between the phones are the sizes and the cameras. Personally, I am most excited for the new colors offered.

The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro are available for pre-order on 10/16, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone mini are available for pre-order on 11/6.

Happy iPhone launch season!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
