Fiction On Odyssey: Counting

Is that 120 for the top and another 120 for the bottom? Or 120 for both?

Fiction On Odyssey: Counting

150 for a half cup of oatmeal. 10 for the almond milk. 90 for the banana. 200 for the peanut butter. That's 450 total. That's kind of a lot, though… How is peanut butter 200 calories for only 2 tablespoons? If I only use half that, It'll bring the total down to 350. That's so much better. Besides, I'm going over to Tyler's house for dinner. He's making burgers. It says here it's 120 per bun. Is that 120 for the top and another 120 for the bottom? Or 120 for both? I'll just count it twice just to be safe. It'll probably be around 40 for the lettuce, tomato, and onion. 60 for the cheese. Maybe I can leave the cheese out. I can just say I don't like cheese on my burger. He's definitely going to know I'm lying, though. I'll just keep it. But where is he going to buy his burger patties from? Is it going to be 6 ounces or 4 ounces? How can it range from as little to 170 to as high as 300? Should I just use 250? Tyler also said he's going to make fries. If I eat 12, that's another 120. Ketchup? Another 20. That's 730 for the burger and fries. And he's definitely going to make me eat dessert. I mean, it's not that he's going to force me. And I could always say I'm too full for dessert, but that's so lame. And if I don't eat dessert then he probably won't eat it and I would feel so guilty because he already bought it. What did he say he bought? Tate's Bake Shop cookies? He didn't say which ones though… but it's 140 for 2 of the chocolate chip ones. That's 840 just for dinner alone. With breakfast, that's 1290. Maybe I can just have one cookie. Or should I just have 6 fries? He's definitely going to say something about that--it just looks weird to take that little. If I take out the banana and halve the amount of peanut butter from breakfast, that would bring me down to 260. That would leave me at 1030 for the day. Okay. That's not so bad because then I'll have some wiggle room if I miscalculated anything or if I take a couple extra fries by mistake. It would be so much better to just eat at home… maybe I'll just tell him something came up--that my parents decided to go out and I need to watch my sister. No… he would just tell me to bring her to his house. It's okay. 1030 is perfectly fine. And tomorrow, I'll have a salad for dinner: 23 for the spinach, 160 for the avocado (half!), 60 for the apple, and 140 for the chicken. No dressing. That's 383. With today's original breakfast, that's 833. And that's perfect.

StableDiffusion

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
