We can all agree that people who know their stuff in regards to computer science make a lot of money. It's one of the quickest growing professions in the world today and it's not hard to see why:
Cyberterrorism is a huge problem and hacking isn't far behind in the rankings. Between the speculation over the election and countries like North Korea gaining a high amount of knowledge in the field, it is quite possibly the most serious threat to American life today. Seeing how you're probably reading this on a laptop with at least one other tab open while texting your friends about your plans later, you can see why this would make sense.
This is what makes anonymous so fascinating to me:
It's hard to fathom that at this point we don't have the firepower to stop them. Hell, we have the most nuclear weapons in the world and it isn't even close, we have the most nuclear weapons in the world and it isn't even close enough to stop Anonymous cyber attacks. They consider themselves a group of online vigilantes, and with Donald Trump as president, they likely won't be stopping anytime soon:
When they say they will take action against Trump if he doesn't live up to his promises, what's crazy is that not only have they proven they can deliver, but the fact that they can publicly threaten the President of the United States.
I respect Anonymous merely for the fact that their existence in itself is pretty impressive. But for our sake, hopefully, things get better before they do something that affects all of us.
