Thanksgiving, besides Christmas, is the best holiday. Nothing compares. It is a day filled with football, food, family and friends.
Thanksgiving is my personal heaven. But the one thing about Thanksgiving that every millennial dreads in the constant questions from family on this day. So here is a list of all the annoying questions we are dreading to answer but DEFINITELY will have to.
1. "Are you still single?"
Why? WHY is this always the first questioned asked? And if you are still single, it is always followed by "Oh, it's okay hunny. You'll find someone someday." THANKS FOR THE REASSURANCE.
2. "How's school?"
Listen. The last thing I want to think or talk about on my small break from school is school.
3. "Did you gain some weight?"
Why is this asked on a day that is literally set aside for eating food non-stop? Yes, I probably gained weight, but that isn't going to stop me from eating a shit ton today.
4. "What are you going to do with the rest of your life?"
I have no idea! I'm just trying to get through school and graduate. And again, today is not a day I want to be thinking about anything besides food and football.
5. "Do you have to watch the football game?"
YES. YES. YES. Why is that even a question? Yes. While football is on, my eyes will be glued to the TV screen. Don't speak to me.
6. "Are you really going Black Friday shopping again this year?"
Did I mention this is my small vacation from school?? I am living it up and shopping till I drop.
