It is a known fact that college gives students extra stress that they would not have in their daily lives. Classes, homework, sports and time management are the main focus of all students in college. However, with there being so much stress that is unrelieved there needs to be an outlet. Seeing how students are not allowed to bring animals from home there should be a way for students to check out animals to play with for a couple hours a day. Renting out the animals with the their student ID’s, and keeping them in rooms for a few hours would allow for the students to destress after a long day of classes, keeping everyone in a good mood. Not having enough time during their days, energy, or the room to house a pet of their own the school should provide the students with this much needed outlet. Having pets around has been proven to reduce stress in people and animals as well as keeping the general mood of the students happier. Helping the students stress to go down could improve their grades in their classes as well as help for the attendance to go up and the sleeping habits of the students to get better on every campus. With there not being a lot of choices for the stress relieving options on campus, this would be a simple but good outlet for the people on campuses. The people who are providing the animals would also have a new clientele if they allowed for all the animals that they gave to the schools to be adopted. The college campus would have a better feel to it, having something that no other college would have can draw in different students and a larger class. As well as the pet stores and would gain new business. There are many different groups within this situation that would all benefit from there being animals on campus!

I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
