Please. I already pay tuition for this school, isn't that enough? I feel like I'm doubling my cost of going to school here with the amount of tickets I receive. I'm dying over here.
Too many times has my view of the street been obstructed when I see that little blue and white citation ticket flapping under my windshield wipers. The sight makes me cringe. It occurs so often that I have become immune to the pain of seeing the ticket, calling my parents, paying it online, and watching my bank account dwindle down to cents.
Why the overkill on tickets? Does the University not have enough money to fund all of its annoying construction? Have the illegally parked students at the university single-handily paid for all the renovations on UK's campus?
I understand if I am parked illegally in a lot I am not supposed to be in, but do you have to come around and give me a ticket literally every 2 hours? The other day I received a ticket for "obstruction" meaning I was literally two inches sticking out into the street and I was slammed with a $35 ticket. I have a hard enough time trying to handle myself on a college kid's budge; please chill with the parking tickets.
Sincerely, every student at the University of Kentucky
