A mother-in-law is supposed to double the joy of having a mother. But, it looks like my joy has been tripled. Thank you for everything you both have done for me. Anywhere from being there for talks or taking me out on vacation with your families. You are two of the most amazing women I have ever met and I hope that my future mother in law is exactly like both of you. But, I know that I can only dream of such a thing. I hope I become lucky enough to become as close to my future husband’s family as I did to your families.
I have come to be friends with both of you even though I was just some shy girl that showed up at your step. It really didn’t take long for me to open up to you because you welcomed me into your home and treated me like I was one of your own. Even if my relationships ended pretty badly, you two were always there for me. You both say that you want me as a daughter-in-law. Well, I want both of you to be my mother-in-law. You are the kind of mothers every kid dreams of having, along with my mom.
I want to thank you for loving me no matter what happens and for always supporting me in whatever I do. Thank you for being there for me to lean on and cry on if I needed to. Vacations with both of you were amazing. Snow camp was one of the greatest experiences I ever had. I am so glad I got close to all of you girls. I am forever thankful for all of our girls nights and fun times. The Outer Banks Vacation was also a blast. I will never forget sitting on the beach talking to you and riding the ferry, as well as you letting me hangout at your house when my ex went to work early every morning and for letting me stay the night, as well as staying by my side, even after the breakups.
When I become a mother and my children start to date, my goal is to treat their boyfriends or girlfriends exactly how you treated me. All mothers and fathers should welcome their children’s boyfriends or girlfriends into their homes. It has made all the difference in my life and I want to make this kind of difference in somebody else’s life. I want to be there for them like you guys were always there for me. I don’t know if I could have made it through the breakups without having you guys here for me.
Thank you for always pushing me to be better like my mother also has and for never letting me settle for less than what I deserve. I have been fortunate enough to have three amazing mothers looking after me. I cannot wait to see what the future brings to all of us. I hope to visit both of you very soon. But, for now I would just like to tell you how much I appreciate, miss, and LOVE you.
