An open letter to the Judgmental:
It’s not your fault you are a judgmental person. You just have this idea that human beings should look, act, and be the same as the image you've created in your head.
Well, that’s not how the rest of the world works. You can ask why over and over again, "Why I do the things I do?" Like why am I wearing my hair down at the gym? Why am I dressed in leggings and a tank for everyday wear? Why do I things so differently? Well, first off it’s none of your business. It just really isn’t. No one owes you an explication for living their life the way they want to.
We are all so different; we all think differently, act differently, and talk differently because we are not the same. Believe it or not people actually like being different. But guess what? They are probably really happy with being different and not fitting in with you. Those useless and hateful thoughts you have are just showing how unhappy you are in your own skin.
If there is one piece of advice I do want to say to the judgmental it is this: find a better way to be happy.
Because if you are constantly worrying about what I am doing in my life and how it is different from yours then you are obviously not happy living your own. Try to find peace in your head where you can hold two opposing thoughts in it and be humble about it. Instead of wondering why people are different and hating them for it, maybe you should focus on your own life and maybe change the hate into happiness within yourself.
