Dear Dad,

Thank you for absolutely everything that you've done for me. I truly don't think you'll ever understand how much I look up to you.

Whether it's fixing my car in the pouring rain or making sure I ate that day, I can always count on you to keep me going.

Thank you for always supporting me. Whenever I need you, I know you're only a phone call away and will do anything in your power to help me.

Thank you for loving me unconditionally. I know I'm a little like mom, so I must not have been the easiest child to raise (Sorry mom, but it's true). But nonetheless, you were always there full of love.

Thank you for being my #1 fan always. Whether you were my coach or my dad, you were always cheering me on. From the soccer tournaments three hours away or the eight-hour long dance competitions, you cheered me on all the same. And I heard you every game and every dance, and I appreciate it. You're cheering helped me more than you'll ever know.

Thank you for always pushing me to be the best I could be. No matter what, I can always count on you to be there to pick me up when I fall. Whether it's being overwhelmed with school or just overtired in general, you're always there with that bit of encouragement to keep me going. And it means a lot.

And last but not least, thank you for giving me an amazing role model. I will always be your little girl and I will always love you no matter what. And one day I hope to start a new chapter in my life with someone just as amazing as you, who is just as caring and just as loving.

You are honestly the best dad I could've ever asked for, and I know I don't say it often enough, but thank you for being you. You deserve all the credit in the world for putting up with me and mom every day. After all, you shaped me into the woman I am today and I hope you're as proud of me as I am for having you as my dad.

I love you, always and forever.

Love Always,
Your Proud Daughter

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
