Dear Best Friends,
You guys are the light of my life. You make me feel calm when the rest of the world is driving me absolutely insane. When something really cool happens, I can’t wait to run back to my dorm and tell you; only to remember that you’re not there and it will just have to wait. When I’m sad, I think about how much fun we used to have over the summer. I think about loud and crazy music with the windows rolled down. I think about sitting at the end of the driveway at midnight eating an entire pint of ice-cream by ourselves. I think about how much fun we’re going to have when we finally get to see each other again.
So to you, my friends, I say thank you. Thank you for being my rock. And even though we don’t talk nearly as much as we should, I still think about you every single day. I wonder how you are doing and what new exciting things are happening in your life. I think about how one day all of our kids will be best friends too. But most of all, I think about how I can’t WAIT to get out of school and have ridiculous sleepovers like always.
So do not think that I have forgotten about you because I have not. I don’t think I ever could, to be honest. I wish I could have you all here with me crammed into my dorm room and eating (vegetarian) buffalo chicken dip and talking about boys. If we didn’t have cell phones and face time I would probably die. Virtual sleepovers are better than no sleepover, right?
Once again, I love and miss you all SO much. We will be united soon, I promise.
Virtual cheers,
Your Best Friend <3
