In case you haven’t heard: the old Taylor Swift is dead.

In "Look What You Made Me Do," her new single from her unreleased, upcoming album Reputation, Taylor Swift informs us that the old Taylor is gone and a new one has come to life. I, for one, am disappointed.

I may not be completely willing to admit it to just anybody, but deep down, I am a Swiftie.

I grew up watching this young artist make her way through the genres, from country to rock to pop, in order to find her sound and share her talent and passion with the world. And now, to find out that she’s “dead”? It’s heartbreaking.

The most upsetting thing about it all is that she’s completely turned against everything she’s been preaching to her fans all these years. She’s always spoken and sung about being a strong woman despite those who try to tear her down, yet she’s “moving on” and completely changing herself because of some drama that came her way in her recent past. What happened to shaking it off, T?

Since we’re saying goodbye to an iconic, record-breaking superstar, here’s 11 of her best moments from the last 11 years:

1. This Video

If you didn't have a "boy next door" who was into everybody except you, this song made you feel like you did. The You Belong With Me music video also highlighted Taylor's humility with dance moves like these.

2. When She Sang "Smelly Cat" With Lisa Kudrow

During her 1989 World Tour, Taylor often had guest artists accompany her on stage. In Los Angeles at Staples Center on August 26, 2015, Taylor had our beloved Friends character Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow) come on stage to join her in a duet performance of the iconic song from the show.

3. Receiving the ACM Milestone Award... From Her Mom

In 2015, Taylor (25, at the time) received the American Country Music Milestone Award. Her mother came on stage to present Taylor with her award. Her mom praised Taylor with compliments and shamelessly expressed her pride in the artist, declaring herself "a very proud mom." We know, Andrea, we know.

4. Revolutionizing Diet Coke

After these commercials, it became virtually impossible for me to drink Diet Coke and not want to write a song.

5. When She Gave Everyone The Perfect 22nd Birthday Caption

I don't know about you, but I'm feeling twenty-two

6. She Taught Us That "The Best People In Life Are Free"

Tay's squad is literally #SquadGoals.

7. Every Time She Graced Us With Her Cats

From hilarious videos to perfectly-timed photos, Meredith and Olivia have given Taylor and her fans so much joy over the years.

8. When She Fought Apple Music

In 2015, Taylor fought Apple Music, refusing to allow her music on their site until they paid all artists for their content accessed by customers in their free-trial period. She won.

9. This Commercial

Literally me.

10. Her Role in "Valentine's Day"

Acting alongside Taylor Lautner, T-Swift added a comedic element to the movie.

11. Releasing Her Debut Hit "Tim McGraw"

The hit that started it all...

Needless to say, the "old Taylor" will be missed. Can the "new Taylor" compare?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
