A warm sunny afternoon in central Pennsylvania, class is over and the temperature has reached the level where we all have decide shorts and a t-shirt are acceptable outdoor attire for the day. To any nature lovers and explores, The Appalachian Trail awaits. It's the perfect spring time activity. It is personally one of my favorite things to do when my schedule is free. I love the variance of views and spots along the trail. The neatness of having a trail like this so close to use for a simple sunny day activity, not to mention how the trail makes for great photographic moments along the way.

The trail is a great place to go on a solo walk or spend time sitting working on papers, or just using your imagination to create an exciting afternoon. I would encourage and your friends to spend sometime on the trail on a weekend or find time on a weekday when you're not pinned down by other responsibilities. It's an ideal place to just let go and relax and forget that the stress and craziness of college exist (at least for a few hours). The flowers, the flowering fields, the bees near the blackberry trees, the smell of cut grass, all the sensations of Appalachian walks. The Appalachian Trail is something special and I hope everyone steps foot on at least once. It's an experience worth having, especially at sunset and sunrise being on the trail is stunning when its dressed in the orange suns glow. Go see for yourself!

It is something special that we have on the east coast and I find as a college student that any activity free and nearby is worth it. I mean not having to spend money is awesome is it not? Plus there are so many things along that trail that you never know what you'll find. Also, If you'd want to do a weekend hike, just a day trip or an over nighter, you can. Even just a quick three hour walk you can explore a section of it to your liking. So maybe this weekend if you're sick of the same old same old or the yellow breaches has been your go to place, or maybe even just sitting around on campus has bored you to death, try something new. Go explore this new nature hideaway. Take a stroll one afternoon into the beauty and peace of the woods. It is one of central PA's most beautiful areas to see and experience. There is something in it for everyone.

That includes you nature lovers or nature photographers, you'll feel at home here. I would highly encourage you to grab your camera and make a scheduled day to snap some shots on this trail. It provides numerous opportunities for dynamic shots of almost anything you could imagine outdoors. From the plants, to animals, buildings and signs, it provides beautiful and scenic moments. But don't miss putting the camera down to enjoy what nature has to has to offer. Let it speak to your creativity and positivity, let nature take control.

The Appalachian Trail is just a stone throws away. Enjoy your time on the trail. Make the most of it and don't forget to lose yourself at least little in the serenity of the moment.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
