How does the rain make you feel? Do you look how side and just want to crawl back into bed or do you find comfort in the stillness and pitter patter on your window sill? For me, I can break each letter of the word down into four adjectives that I feel correlate well with the rain.

1. Relaxing

Rain has a steady sound that seems to drown out every other surrounding noise. It's rhythmic and peaceful.

2. Artistic

When it rains we tend to have a sense of awakening. May it be artistic and just new ideas pop into our heads. I feel as if we day dream more and worry less. You can look outside a window and find inspiration.

3. Invigorating

Even though the outside world may be grey and dull, I tend to find comfort and joy in that fact that I know sunshine is soon to follow. Rain can't last forever. Soon there will be a ray of sunlight in the sky and all your problems will seem to drift away.

4. Relieving

At the end of the day, when the rain finally settles and you step outside, it will fill like a huge weight was lifted off your shoulders and everything around you may seem cold and down, but you will have a sense of stability for you were sheltered.
