There is a new viral game out there called "Among Us". "Among Us" is a game that you can download on your phone, laptop, or tablet and play with others. The goal of the game is to compete with other players to try to find the imposter among everyone. There can be any amount of players, and you can make a private game just for your family or friends.

To start out the game, you join a room or host your own and all the players can pick the color of their character and accessories for them, like hats. Once the host starts the game, each player gets assigned to either be a crewmate or an imposter and no one knows who anyone else is. The goal is to either finish all the tasks given on the spaceship or catch the imposter.

The imposter can sabotage the ship and kill other players. Once a body is found or someone calls an emergency meeting, players get to discuss and vote on who they think is the killer. The crewmates win by completing all their tasks or successfully booting off the player that is the imposter. The imposter wins by killing all the crewmates or getting everyone else voted off the ship.

The imposter is able to create chaos by sabotaging the spaceship in ways like shutting random doors, disconnecting the lights, and depleting the oxygen levels.

I did not think that this game would be as fun as it is. My sister convinced me to download the game and soon it was what we did all evening. We got a group of about seven of our friends to join and we played until about 1 a.m. Because it is a new imposter every time a new game starts, it keeps everyone guessing and is just overall a fun game.

Kids of any age can play this game, too, because it is a relatively easy concept and easy to play. The most fun is when you get to be the imposter and can keep the others guessing.

There are a couple of bad aspects of this game though. The first is that even though the game does blur out any inappropriate words or phrases, people on there can still be really mean. If a child is playing, I would recommend only playing with people they know, because some people are vulgar and mean on there.

The second issue is that sometimes when you join a game, you have to wait a few minutes before the game starts because people are still joining.

The final bad thing about this game is the glitches. It can glitch and kick you out of a game which is the most annoying. I have also heard about the game glitching and telling a crewmember who the imposter is and then not allowing them to move to play the game.

Overall, though, I would say it is worth the download. It is fun to play and safe during this COVID pandemic. So download it and get all your friends to download it, too, and have fun playing!
