Do you ever have one of those moments where you think about something you’re doing and you wonder… “Is it just me who does this? Am I super weird? Has anyone else ever done this?” Well, I’ve had those moments a lot--probably too many times. Now I’m going to share of few of these things where I wonder if I’m the only one in the world who does or says these things.

1. Am I the only one who after watching an action packed movie--like Fast and Furious--has to be aware of their driving? It’s like my brain is still watching the movie and all the sudden I’m Vin Diesel racing away from police and racing to stop some bad guy. Which leads me to another… Am I the only one who can’t listen to AC/DC, Aerosmith, or any other band along those lines when I’m driving or else I think I’m in a movie?

2. Am I the only one who would pretend I was a witch making potions in the bath when I was younger? I'd get an empty shampoo bottle and mix every possible soap in it. I'd also steal my dad's shaving cream and add that in there. He didn't like that very much.

3. Am I the only one who when I was/am home alone I would go on Youtube and search karaoke songs and belt it out like I was Beyonce? Then, as soon as my mom would pull into the driveway I'd quickly "X" out the page and pretend I was doing something productive.

4. Am I the only one who thought I had Spidey powers in the shower when I was younger? I did the spiderman hand thing and the water shot out from my pinky, thumb, and index finger. I'll be honest, I was pretty convinced I was Spider-Man up until I was 13.

5. Am I the only one who literally eats a whole box of fruity snacks in one sitting? Same goes for fruit roll ups, gushers, and fruit by the foots. I swear the put something in those things that are seriously addicting.

6. Am I the only one who has been told, "Would you like some coffee with that sugar?" because everytime someone says that to me I get a little offended. God forbid that I enjoy sugar right? Gosh.

7. Am I the only one who makes up scenarios in my head before I go to bed? Scenarios that in most cases have about a .0001% chance of happening? For example; Harry Styles noticing me in the crowd of One Direction concert and falling in love with me immediately and then, we live happily ever after.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
