Before I start, I want to say that I am by no means trying to offend anyone. I am just expressing my thoughts and feelings on the behavior I have seen these past few weeks.
Black Lives Matter vs. All Lives Matter
I don't understand this. I know that "Black Lives Matter" supposedly doesn't mean that only black lives matter. But what is wrong with saying, "All lives matter?" I have never been taught to see color, and I do not. Why not "American lives matter?" Why are we creating a racial divide within ourselves? Every American is a human.
That is it.
It doesn't matter your skin color, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity or religion.
The world is far too ugly and nasty without all of us turning on each other. A life being taken wrongfully is wrong. In order to fix it, you go to the source. But these recent tragedies have only created a bigger and bigger divide.
We all need to come together and celebrate our differences and embrace each other.
Law enforcement
Again, not meaning to offend anyone. We need to respect the law enforcement. They put their lives on the line every day to protect us all. Yes, clearly there have been a few bad eggs, but two or three bad eggs does not spoil the entire carton. They leave their house and families to protect yours and mine.
Think about it — if you have an emergency, who do you call?
Exactly my point! What would you do without them? I know I have peace in knowing that there are men and women out there willing to risk their own life to save mine.
Sense of entitlement
I don't normally like Tomi Lahren (she's a bit too intense for me), but I think people need to hear this message.
Like I said, this was not written to offend anyone. Only to express my frustration with how things are going right now in America.
