Now that it is time for the holidays, you will soon be returning home to your family. After being away form your family for months it is usually so nice to spend some quality time with them, but then you have to answer all their eventual questions. Here are some of the questions you will be asked when you return home for the holidays:

1. Are you single?

Listen, Aunt Carol. If I had a boyfriend, you know you would have seen a pic on Instagram or Facebook, so you already now the laughable answer is no to that question.

2. What are your grades like?

Please do not ask me about my grades or my GPA. I'm trying to not think about either of those answers.

3. When are you graduating?

Okay, I'm not super proud of myself for getting behind, but at least I'm still powering through and I will get that degree.

4. So, what are you going to do after you graduate?

I don't even know what I'm doing after lunch.

5. Have you applied for any internships yet?

Yes, and I don't want to talk about it.

6. How is *old friend*?

Lol, we aren't talking about them.

7. How is that person always in your pictures?

Read the caption or look at their tag, do you want an explanation of everyone I'm friends with?

8. Wait... what's your major?

Okay, it's been the same thing for four years. How can you not remember?

9. How is saving money going?

My money and spending are definitely not what I want to talk about over the holidays.

10. Are you going to eat all of that?

Of course I am. I haven't had a good, home cooked meal in months. I'm slamming.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
