When I first heard the news about Texas, I didn't want to believe it. Mainly because there has already been so much tragedy this year, do we really need anymore bad news. Finally I decided to check the news on it and my heart broke, 26 people dead, 12 of them were children, turns out it was a domestic despute and not a terrorist attack. Even with that
Now I wont mention his name because I am not going to give that piece of scum anymore space in this article. Instead I want to talk about why it is important for us to come together in all of this.
Regardless of what your religion, of what party you are, or whatever the heck you believe in. Right now we need to show our support for the victims and their familes, so many people lost family that day and even children! The youngest one was 18 months old, imagine losing a baby, and seeing your children die, and watching your family die right in front of you.
This whole thing has started a big debate on gun control, and some people blaming Trump, the republicans, the NRA, etc. Some even saying that "God isn't real and that he wasn't looking out for them." Well I can tell you that right now, I am pretty sure that those grieving families weren't even thinking about politics right now, they right now are probably busy planning funerals that they didn't even think they were going to plan. So please do not politicize this tragedy.
What we should be doing is thinking of the people of Texas right now, there are several GoFundMe pages that you can donate to in order to help out the families. You can check out the pages in the link at the end of the article.
People say that thoughts and prayers don't do anything and how we should be taking action instead well sometimes there is someone out there that would really appreciate whatever you can give them. Just so they know that you are thinking of them.
The point I am making is no matter what you believe in we all need to show our support more than ever, with everything going on in the world it is time what we show some kindness and compassion towards each other it can really make a difference!
Now get out there and make a difference.
