An official guide to how to entertain yourself at the airport when you have a long layover/a delayed flight/or any other reason you might be stuck at the airport for forever:

1. Ride the moving sidewalk up and down your terminal

Just make sure you stay out of people's way

2. Count how many tabloid magazines are for sale at the stand next to your gate

And decide how much of it is probably #FakeNews

3. Count how many people are asleep around you

Bonus points if you count more than 20 people on your flight. Early flights are the worst.

4. Document your trip on Snapchat

Don't get caught snapping pictures!

5. Make up lives for the people sitting around you

What do you think their story is? How many kids do they have? Where did they go to college? What's their love story? Where are they flying to? Make it up.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday.
