For those who have sisters, I’m sure you’ll understand what I’m about to say. It’s a unique gift to have sisters who share many of the same qualities as you.

It’s even greater when you see your younger sisters growing up and turning into the better versions of you. I know I don’t say it enough, but I am proud of the both of you.

To My Sisters,

Thank you, both, for being one of a kind. You each have the best of me in you.

Thank you for always knowing how to make me smile. Sometimes, it’s through making me laugh. Sometimes, it’s through laughing at me and helping me realize I don’t have to be perfect.

Thank you for always having my back. You both know when to be calm and understanding. You are also experts in giving tough love when needed.

Thank you for pointing out my faults at times because I need to know when I’m not setting a good example.

Thank you for stealing my clothes because honestly, some of them look better on you. No matter how many times we argue over who is borrowing what just know I love you both.

Thank you for being mini Betty Crockers in the kitchen. We all know I wasn’t blessed with the baking and cooking gene. I will never starve with the two of you around.

Thank you for playing music in the mornings while we are getting ready. While I may seem grouchy, I secretly like how you play "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran on repeat.

Thank you for sharing my love for musicals. I know you both are always down to watch "Mamma Mia!" at any time.

Thank you for singing and dancing around the house like crazy people. I know it seems like I don’t like your silly performances, but I secretly do.

Thank you for keeping me on my toes constantly. I never know when one of you will sneak out and scare me. You have me watching my back and checking behind doors all the time.

Thank you for always laughing at me for tripping up the stairs. I’m glad my clumsiness entertains you.

Thank you for always announcing your presence when you enter a room. It’s not a party without the two of you.

Thank you for always wanting to take down and fight any guy who messes with me. Although you both are tiny, all guys should fear you because you care about me more than any of them.

Thank you for being the better versions of me. You never let me down. I can always count on one of you to be singing in the shower while the other is shopping in my closet.

Through all the craziness, I love you both like crazy. I hope you become everything you want to be and more.

Love,

Your Sister

You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
