Some People Are Addicted To Alcohol But I Am Slightly Addicted To Lush Products

About two summers ago I visited the Lush store for the very first time in my life, and after that, I was hooked.

I always heard about Lush bath bombs and how they were made from natural ingredients online, but I never really got into them until visiting the store. When you first walk in, you are greeted by a powerful scent of fresh ingredients, and every where you look there is a burst of color and shapes.

I bought two bath bombs, Intergalactic and a regular pink bath bomb. When I tried Intergalactic, I never knew how awesome a bath could be. The bath bomb fizzed and turned the bath a variety of yellows, blues, and purples. Finally it all turned into a teal color, but the best part was the glitter.

The smell was also so soothing, a mix of mint and almost a sweet, candy scent. It was probably the best bath I have ever taken. It literally was "out of this world." From then on, I knew I was going to look into buying more Lush products, not just the bath bombs.

I have tried a variety of different Lush products now, such as bubble bars, bath melts, soap bars, body wash, body conditioner and lip scrubs. Each product hasn't failed me yet, and each and every one had a wonderful scent and result.

My favorite products are the holiday scents, like the snowman bubble bar that turns your bath into a lemony sanctuary. Or the Christmas Sweater bath bomb that leaves you in a bath of what I imagine bathing in warm mulled cider would be like. And last but not least, a popular scent called Snow Fairy, which I got the soap bar and body wash in, it reminded me of Hubba Bubba bubble gum.

Not only do I love the products themselves, the Lush company is great. They hand make each product, with natural ingredients. You don't have to worry about potentially harmful chemicals being put in your soap. And for the vegetarians out there, Lush products are 100% vegetarian.

Not to mention that they don't animal test, and are eco friendly. Lush recently came out with their Naked products, which means that instead of wasting plastic bottles for shower gels and shampoos, they don't package them in it.

This helps reduce plastic waste, but still gives you the Lush scents you love, and I think that's a pretty great deal. I'm not completely addicted to Lush but I certainly do keep up with what new and exciting scent or product they come up with.

I highly recommend their products if you love taking baths and showers, because there is something for everyone at Lush. If you ever get the chance to visit the store, or even visit the website, you won't be disappointed.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
