TV Guide

So, I'm a wreck. After binge-watching approximately six hours of Gilmore Girls, I'm feeling extremely nostalgic. I grew up watching "Gilmore Girls," and just the theme song alone fills me with warmth and nostalgia. Spoilers ahead, obviously. So, here are my top seven moments from the new "Gilmore Girls" revival:

7. Seeing Lorelai and Rory Reunite

Ok, this moment already had me in tears! Lorelai and Rory reuniting was one of the most heart-felt moments of the revival, if you ask me. They jumped right in, as if no time had passed & I was immediately transported back to watching this show as a child. Lorelai and Rory are everything to me, and the revival didn't fail to remind us of the heartfelt bond between the two.

6. Seeing My Queen and Savior Paris Gellar

Paris Gellar was one of the best characters on Gilmore Girls, and she was certainly my favorite! She knew what she wanted, and she didn't depend on anyone or any man to help her. She never stood for any "b.s."(as Emily Gilmore would say), and her driven attitude just made me love her even more. Paris is unapologetically herself, and seeing Liza Weil on screen again made my heart leap.

5. Jess Never Getting "Over Her"

Ok, so maybe they don't exactly "say" that he's still in love with her, but come on! The way he looks at Rory completely shattered my heart! Throughout the entire revival, he did nothing but support her and encourage her. I love him forever & I will always be #TeamJess.

4. A Lorelai & Sookie Reunion

This scene completely wrecked me. As soon as Lorelai walked in the room and saw the wedding cakes, I was a mess. Sookie and Lorelai had one of my favorite relationships on the show, and seeing them hug in the kitchen was everything to me!! Sookie was back in her kitchen, and I felt so genuinely happy seeing them both together on screen again. Lorelai + Sookie forever!!

3. Luke and Lorelai Are Finally Together

Ok, so maybe they were "together" for nine years, but we finally got to see Lorelai and Luke get married! They belong together, and seeing them finally tie the knot was extremely fulfilling. I want them together forever, and in my mind, they will be. But, I'm also kind of bummed that April and Jess weren't at the ceremony.

2. The Last Four Words

I was definitely not expecting those last four words! I'm still unsure as to how I feel about them, but I'm hoping that maybe the baby will give Rory some sense of stability. The show has come full circle, which I can appreciate, but I am left wanting more closure. I know that the show was meant to end with an open ending, but I want answers Amy Sherman-Palladino!

1. Basically Any Scene With Emily Gilmore in It TBH

Seeing Emily deal with life after Richard was heartbreaking, but her character development was my favorite part of the revival. She learned to do things for herself, and seeing her sell her house and move to Nantucket was the closure I needed. She finally looked like she was doing something to make herself happy, and I've never seen Emily look so at peace. All of her scenes made me cry, but the last scene made me happy cry. Seeing one of my favorite characters finally finding peace brought me so much joy and warmth.

So, that's it. As of right now, we aren't getting any more episodes & I don't know what to do with myself. I need so many answers! But, I'm at least semi-satisfied with how the show panned out. All in all, I loved the revival and I loved being able to visit Stars Hollow one last time. So, here's to you Richard.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
