A Holiday Gift Guide For Each Of The Zodiac Signs

I know what you're thinking: "Mary, it's only November. It's not even Thanksgiving yet, and you're already thinking about Christmas?" Well, yes. Christmas is quite truly the "most wonderful time of the year," and I would rather be over prepared than under. Though it has lost its true meaning and has become more of a capitalistic holiday, I still enjoy spoiling my friends and family with sentimental gifts. And I know not everybody celebrates Christmas, but these are still great gift ideas for any occasion! The holidays are going to come before we know it, and if you want to perhaps redeem yourself from the obvious last-minute gift that did not receive the reaction you had hoped for from the previous year (definitely not speaking from personal experience), this guide is for you.

Pisces

For all of the Pisces, this gift or these mugs will suit the impeccable taste in art that a lot of Pisces have.

Aquarius

Aquarians are known for progressive and humanitarian qualities. Get them this eco-friendly phone case as a gift this year!

Capricorn

Capricorns may be hard to please, but with this record player , you've got a good chance at winning the title of "Best Gift Giver" this holiday season.

Sagittarius

If you want to send a Sagittarius a message, gift them this. Just kidding. Sagittarius people are known to have a great sense of humor, so if you do gift them a bag of coals, they would probably find it hilarious. If you want to give them a gift with sentimental value, get them this customizable sign with a place that holds a lot of value as their gift.

Scorpio

Scorpios are very loyal people who will stick by your side no matter what. To show them your appreciation for them, gift them this personalized record doormat.

Libra

A lot of Libras that I know always smell nice. That said, this perfume set is the perfect gift for them. It provides a variety of perfume samples and a voucher that they can use on their favorite perfume from the set.

Virgo

For Virgos, I would suggest buying them this customizable set of glasses with a map of their hometown or favorite city.

Leo

It is a stereotype that Leos have amazing, luscious hair, but I believe it is a stereotype to be proven true. For the Leos, gift them this hair styling tool.

Cancer

For Cancers, I would recommend buying them this birth stone and flower candle.

Gemini

Geminis have a unique taste in a variety of things. These super cute tealights would be perfect for their taste in home decor!

Taurus

Taurus are very practical people who seem like the type of people to use coasters. Therefore, these unique coasters could be a great gift for your Taurus.

Aries

Aries' confidence makes a statement in every room they walk in and these personalized rings will only help amp up their confidence.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
