Kelsey Thompson

Hello! My name is Kelsey Thompson, and I am currently a freshman at Syracuse University trying to transfer into Newhouse's Magazine Journalism major. I am a huge advocate for LGBT rights, feminism, and youth political activism. I have always loved writing ever since I was a little kid, and would love to be able to write for The Odyssey because of the notion that no topic is unimportant or lacking basis. The Odyssey truly allows writers to experiment with their stories and broaden their talents and capabilities beyond the confines of their journals or classrooms. The Odyssey is without a doubt one of my absolute favorite online publications, and to be able to showcase my voice and my opinions on such a broad and revered platform would be a dream come true.
