#1 tip for maximizing your time: pace yourself. You can't do everything at once and that's fine. It's how it's supposed to be. Rather than procrastinating and cramming, take things one at a time. After all, there are 8760 hours in the year. You have time.

2. Set goals

To get things done, you need to be aware of what you want and need done. Take time to write out what you need to do. Then set goals. This could include due dates, reward systems, and anything else you need to keep motivated. Start small and work your way up. The more goals you accomplish, the better you feel.

3. Set alarms and reminders

The hardest part about setting goals is keeping them. Set alarms and reminders that keep you on tract. It's alright if you don't meet every goal. By having alarms and reminders, you have a chance to reevaluate how you are doing and what needs to change so you can do better.

4. Plan your meals

Eating is important. You need energy in order to get things done. So take time to plan out what and when you want to eat through out the week. You can even make your meals ahead of time. By being properly nourished, your efficiency will rapidly increase.

5. Make lists

The easiest way to start carrying out goals and plans is to make lists and then to follow that list. This could include lists for grocery shopping, tasks to complete, project due dates, etc. The key to making lists is don't make to many. Remember, pace yourself. Be concise in what you want. Once you accomplish one thing, then you can move on to the other.

6. Have a sleep schedule

Sleep is essential! If there is one thing you should take time to study about, it's sleep. Everyone has different sleep needs. Learn what yours are. When you are aware of them, apply practices that will help improve your sleep.

**One practice everyone should apply is having a regular time you go to bed and wake up. That way even if you're not tired, you now have a designated time when you can at least close your eyes and rest.

7. Have a routine

Have things that you do every single day, whether it be in the morning or at night. This could include reading at night, stretching in the morning, etc. That way, when you accomplish these things, you know that you are capable of being productive everyday.

8. Choose ahead of time

There are everyday things that need to get done: get dressed, take a shower, travel to places, and more. Before doing these things, choose how you will do them before hand. For example, pick out your outfit the night before and plan which route you want to take to work. You are in control of your life.

9. Make time for you

Just like you have to make time to work, make sure to make time for yourself as well. This could include having a designated day in which you don't do work. No matter what, that day is for you to enjoy. This will give you the chance to reboot and make the most of the week to come.

These time saving tips make all the difference. Believe me! You can work, play, AND sleep.
