It’s the start of a new year, which means everyone has the same resolution they always have, but never seem to stick to. Everyone wants to get into shape, lose weight, and be healthier in the new year. If you get bored easily with the same exercise routine or you need motivation to keep working out, here are some tips that are fun and easy that will make working out enjoyable.
1. Work out while you Netflix and chill.
There are actually exercises that you can do while watching TV, so there’s no lazy excuse.
2. Make shopping your cardio.
Carry all of those bags, walk around the whole mall, and take the stairs instead of the escalator.
3. Have a dance party.
Dancing burns a lot of calories, so turn on Beyonce Pandora and have a dance party in your room.
4. Get crafty to get healthy.
There’s so many fun and cute things that will remind you to do quick exercises like squats or push ups.
5. Make healthy snacks.
Finding healthy snacks recipes for after your workouts is fun and you’ll be less tempted to eat junk food.
6. Use fitness apps.
Apps like 7 Minute Workout are great because they don't take much time and you can do it in your house.
7. Follow along with YouTube workout videos.
My personal favorite is Blogilates, she comes up with a lot of easy and fun workouts on her channel.
8. Take a Zumba, yoga, or cycling class.
These are really fun and in right now, and they are probably offered at your college’s gym.
9. Find a gym buddy.
You will be so much more motivated if you have someone that makes you actually go to the gym.
