If you’re anything like me, you’ve had a lot of general admission concert experiences. For those who don’t know, a general admission concert is basically a free-for-all. People line up super early to be the first people able to enter – so they can be as close as possible to the performer. People who get super close to the stage are normally in the “pit.” And let me tell you, the pit can get wild. No matter how wild it can get, you are always guaranteed to see at least 9 certain types of people in it.
1. The drinkers.
The people that always have a drink in their hand. They can sometimes get rowdy, but most of them are just there to have a good time.
2. The calm ones.
The people who are there just to relax and enjoy the music. They can most likely be seen calmly bouncing along to the music.
3. The criers.
It is very possible to get emotional at concerts. Emotions just always seem to hit you. You can always spot at least one person crying in the pit.
4. The movers.
5. The recorders
The people that want memories. They want to remember the fun they had by recording their favorite songs and keeping those memories forever.
6. The people that were dragged there.
You can always tell the fans from the people that were dragged there by the fans. These people are most likely just enjoying time with their friends/loved ones but could really care less about what is going on around them.
7. The texters.
The texters usually go hand in hand with the people that were dragged there, but sometimes people just like being on their phones.
8. The singers.
Also known as “the jammers”. These are usually the die-hard fans. The ones that enjoy singing, rather than dancing.
9. The body-thrashers.
The ones that have the most fun thrusting their body all over the place to the beats of the music. These are the people you should watch out for – they might just hit you.
Even though these people do not necessarily react to concerts in the same way you might, they all have something in common – they are there to enjoy the show. Their overall main goal is to have fun and listen to the music.
