Summer as a college student is normally spent one of two ways: working your a*s off at a summer job or an internship, or doing absolutely nothing but lounging around the house and driving your parents absolutely nuts. For me, this summer is a lot to handle and it is only the beginning. When I come home from working a 9-5 at my internship, I may or may not be a tiny bit sleep deprived and I could potentially have a slight attitude... but can you blame me?

The hit TV show Modern Family knows just how a hard working college student feels. Here are 9 times the most relatable family on television has explained what it is like to be struggling this summer:

1. When someone attempts to vent to you about how bored they are sitting around doing nothing all summer but laying by their pool...

2. Your arch enemy's Instagram pictures start to get to you and low-key make you extremely envious of the fun summer she's having sitting by the beach with bottomless cocktails while you're at work... but then remind yourself that she is drinking all her calories.

3. When you mix up the "virgin" cocktails at the family party... classic.

4. When you just want to fall asleep for days on end... but can't because you have to be up at 7:00 a.m. for work.

5. After a long day at work, you come home and pour yourself a bottl- (err, I mean) a glass of wine...

6. Finally! A weekend off... When you drink a few too many with you girlfriends and do something totally and completely embarrassing but you all agree to pretend like it never happened.

7. Two words: summer and diet. F**k is right.

8. The argument you have with yourself daily as you sit in traffic on your way to work.

9. Ah, the rare chance you get to actually hangout with your friends. The morning after, you're trying to piece together the night... and then remember that that someone was you. *wipes tears*

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
