Pizza is one of the best foods out there. It is constantly a go-to food for many, especially when there are large groups of people around. But what makes pizza so great? Why do we love it so much? Well, let me tell you why in 9 short reasons.

1. The cheese

You cannot tell me that cheese is not one of the best parts of the pizza. Ooey, gooey cheese. All of it.

2. Great comfort food

Failed a test? Pizza. Missed your bus? Pizza. Boyfriend broke up with you? Definitely pizza.

3. The different toppings

There's pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, pineapple, ham, bacon, hamburger, mac and cheese, veggies... You name it, it can be put on a pizza. Lots of toppings leads to lots of variety, and the perfect slice for anybody.

4. Greasy but satisfying

If pizza wasn't as greasy as it is, would it really be as good? No. The grease is what makes it so delicious.

5. You can eat it at any time

Any time, any way, pizza is always there. There's even breakfast and dessert pizza, which leaves you with no excuse to not eat it.

6. Impossible to get tired of

Have you ever been tired of pizza? With all of the different varieties, it's pretty difficult to do.

7. No need to dirty dishes

Pizza is great finger food, which means no dirty silverware. Also, you can eat it right out of the box, which means no dirty dishes, either. PERFECT.

8. Always good

Well, most of the time anyway. Although honestly, it's pretty difficult to find a bad pizza. I have yet to find one.

9. Everybody loves pizza

Which is probably why it is the go-to for many functions. No matter what, you can never go wrong with pizza.

I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
