Christmas is primarily about Jesus and the fact that He came to save us and to celebrate that, we give one another presents. Here are 9 presents that all college students want, but unfortunately, most cannot be bought.
1. Sleep
We've worked hard all semester and now we just want to sleep our way through Christmas and New Years before we're back at it again in 2018.
2. Home-cooked food
It's been a long semester of on campus food and we're ready for Momma's cooking.
3. No tuition
I guess we could technically get scholarships for this, but I'd much
rather just wake up on Christmas morning and open a box to find "tuition
has been abolished" written on a scrap of paper.
4. Time
Semesters fly by with all of the work we have to do, so we'd really like
the clock to slow down when we're with our friends. Four years with these
people sounds long, but in reality, it's all too short.
5. A perfect summer internship
Paid, either close to home or with provided housing and transportation,
with awesome co-workers and a boss that will offer to hire you post-graduation.
6. Free money
I don't need a man, but falling in love is a beautiful. Finding someone to spend the rest of your life with is something that can’t be bought and definitely won’t appear under the Christmas tree, but it’s still nice to hope that the holidays will bring someone around who will stay.
9. Canceled finals
They say that Santa has magic, so I hope he can prove it and somehow
influence my university to cancel all finals. Unless your final grade is riding
on getting an A on your final, in which case I hope Santa uses his magic to get
you that A.
If you can somehow find a way to give these to your college students or talk to Santa about providing them, please do. We are a tired, broke, hungry people that would love anything on this list if you can somehow provide it.
