The Die Hard Legacy

Her grandma, mom and sister were all a part of that sorority, and it's her fulfillment in life to also be a member. She may not outwardly admit it, but she definitely considers herself higher in the chapter than her first generation peers. She's enthusiastic about every Greek sponsored event from socials to Greek Speaker.

The Authority Figure

She doesn't necessarily have to have a position to be seen as an authority figure within the chapter. Her achievements and loyalty to the chapter give her a title of her own and each member respects her insight.

The "Sorostitute"

She has little shame and even less boundaries. She knows most guys in each house, and always has the ability to find you a last minute date for date parties! She wouldn’t miss a social if her life depended on it.

The “GDI” Member

She might live in the house and attend an occasional chapter, but her involvement in Greek life is simply a part time chore. She’s an all around great gal. She tries her best branch out from the group, and doesn’t follow the crowd, and takes offense to being stereotyped as a “sorority girl”.

The Momma

No matter her condition at the end of a night out, she’ll jump to take action whenever a sister is in need of some water and a trash bin.

The Obnoxiously Entitled Lower Classman

There are always those few girls who don’t know their boundaries when speaking to upperclassmen. They’re often the one’s yelling, “shut up!” to quiet everyone down during recruitment practice and chapters. They may even attempt disciplining you with a rant on the house standards and how your drunken tactics don’t meet them.

The Grandma

She hibernates at night while all her friends are at that one social because she's too mature for their immature shenanigans. She’s an introvert, and would very much like to fast forward through college to her career.

The Guy’s Girl

Guys love her, girls want to be her, and you don’t want your boyfriend near her. Guys constantly ask what her status is because of her bursting beauty and charm.

The Over Dramatic Chick

Her sorority is her life and her sanity relies on getting the most t-shirt sales, coming first in Greek Week and being ranked top house on campus. She’ll stand up at chapter and whine about the chapter’s flaws until everyone in the room is rolling their eyes at her.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
