College is crazy and life can get chaotic and unorganized really quickly. Fortunately for us, we live in a time period where we have access to millions of applications right at our fingertips to help us get things in order. As a current junior in college, I've found that I wouldn't be able to keep my life organized if it weren't for a few of these apps. Not to mention, there's a few that will come in handy when you get bored in class and have nothing better to do.
1. Evernote
I'm sure you've heard of this one, but this app is a great way to keep your class notes separated and in the correct places. This app gives you the ability to break down your notes into different classes, different chapters and different colors.
2. Quizlet
I mean... we're in 2020. You should already have this app downloaded to start making those flashcards and memorizing the important stuff.
3. Sleep Cycle App
As a college student, it's hard to get the right amount of sleep. Thankfully, there's an app that literally listens to your snoozing and finds the PERFECT time to wake you up. You need to get this one ASAP before you sign up for an 8 AM exam.
4. Todoist
It's hard to keep track of all the things you need to do: study, work, clean the house, sleep, eat, repeat. This app will remind you what needs to be done and when.
5. Cash App/Venmo
It's much easier to just click a button and send your friend money for last nights' dinner, than to go to an ATM and actually withdraw money. Talk about a waste of time.
6. Headspace
Meditation can really help you relieve the stress that comes with day-to-day life. Take a few minutes and listen to some of the audio on Headspace to really get in the zone and relax.
7. MyFitnessPal
Exercise is more important than ever, and it's always more fun to track it on your Apple Watch or phone! MyFitnessPal does a great job of making health-tracking fun and simple.
8. GoPuff
Whether you're busy studying or busy watching 'the Office' on Netflix, GoPuff delivers whatever you need right to your door. It's a must-have for those of us who don't have time to stop at the grocery store.
9. LinkedIn
It's important to note that the reason you're in college is to hopefully find a job one day. This app helps you form connections early, and start networking for that career!
College can be scary, it can be fun and it can be stressful. You get what you make out of it. With the help of technology, we can really change our mentality while also still staying on top of important things. Make the best of what we're able to control and let whatever else happens, happen.
