8 Weird Ice Cream Flavors You Should Try
The Good Shopping Guide

Everyone loves ice cream. I don’t care who you are – you love ice cream. We all know the classics such as vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and mint. But did you know there are a lot of really strange flavors of ice cream? One would not normally expect many of these to be put into a delectable cold dessert. Here are just a few weird flavors of ice cream from around the world.

1. Kimchi Ice Cream.

Have you ever tried the Japanese treat known as kimchi? Well, have you ever tried it in your ice cream? I bet not. In Japan, it is seen as a normal occurrence to purchase and eat kimchi ice cream. Personally I wouldn't try this ice cream as I generally don't eat sushi because it makes me sick, but would you try this?

2. Sweet Potato Ice Cream.

I am not a fan of sweet potato. Yes, I know it's seen as immoral to hate sweet potato-- but I do! And in ice cream? Now that seems more immoral in my opinion. Would you ever try to eat ice cream that has literal sweet potato inside of it as one of the main ingredients?

3. Lobster Ice Cream.

DON'T MIX SEAFOOD WITH MY DESSERTS. That is one thing I refuse to stand for. Why ruin a perfectly sweet treat by adding a fishy substance to the mix?! It's outrageous, I tell you!

4. Scorpion Ice Cream.

I've had scorpion in my lollipops before, but in ice cream? I don't know. This one I feel like I could attempt to try if I were to be forced, but I would not be buying it voluntarily at my local grocery store, that's for sure!

5. Foie Gras Ice Cream.

Now, for those of you that don't know what foie gras is, take a moment to google it. I'll wait.... Now, having known that, would you eat that in ice cream?! Just the thought of adding this disgusts me. I've never had foie gras on its own, and I'm not about to ruin my favorite dessert with it any time soon.

6. Crocodile Egg And Durian Ice Cream.

Now, after researching for a while I still don't exactly know if they mean that there are REAL crocodile eggs in this ice cream or not. However, I do love a durian every now and then, so I would take the chance and eat this ice cream. Maybe I'll throw up, or maybe I'll have a new favorite dessert.

7. Garlic Ice Cream.

I love garlic! Garlic chicken, garlic chips and dip, garlic bread-- you put garlic in it, I love it. Although, as much of a garlic enthusiast as I am, I couldn't bear to force garlic ice cream down my throat. No one deserves that kind of torment.

8. Horseradish Ice Cream.

Ah, yes, the beloved horseradish. Delicious with certain savory foods and snacks, but in my ice cream? No way! I don't think I can stomach having something that acidic mixed with my sweet dessert treat.

Would you try any of these weird ice cream flavors? A few of these are just a tad too much for me!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
