1. Egg Whites
Whisk up one egg white and apply it to your face like you would if it were a facial mask. Oce you've applied the product evenly, let the egg wash dry then rinse it off! This household beauty product is great for tightening your skin and minimizing pores.
2. Sugar
Sugar is a great exfoliator for your skin! You can mix it with coconut oil or olive oil to make a scrub and can use it for any dry areas. You can also use it to remove dead skin cells from your lips. Mix sugar and honey together and rub it into your lips and next thing you know your lips will be completely moisturized.
3. Banana peels
Before you throw it away, you might want to use them for a little beauty hack! Banana peels can actually whiten teeth. Rub the inside of the banana peel on the top and bottom of your teeth and let it sit for about five minutes. Once five minutes hit, you can use a toothbrush to brush it all in and then rinse! I recommend doing this about three times a week.
4. Baby Powder
If you ran out of dry shampoo no worries, baby powder is a great alternative. Just sprinkle some into the roots of your hair and rub it in. Baby powder is also great for making your eyelashes thick and full. Apply one coat of mascara, apply baby powder with a Q-tip and then add one more coat of mascara to finish off!
5. Coconut Oil
My hair gets extremely dry regardless of what products I use. Coconut oil is the only product that moisturizes my hair and leaves it looking healthy. Lather coconut oil to you hair before a shower, put your hair up in a bun and leave it in for about 30 minutes. Once the 30 minutes is up rinse it out with shampoo and conditioner. You’ll see results in no time.
6. A toothbrush
I don’t know about you but I have crazy baby hairs! The best way to get them to stay in place is by spraying hairspray on them and using a toothbrush to comb them down.
7. Coffee filters
Since the weather has been pretty hot lately I’ve been going through my blotting papers pretty fast. Coffee filters are a great alternative to blotting sheets and definitely reduce the shine on my face. You can even cut them up into squares!
8. Conditioner
I once ran out of shaving cream and was left with no choice but to use conditioner. Nowadays, it’s the only cream I use to shave! Apply it just as you would with any shaving cream and shave away. If your skin is anything like mine, you’ll probably like this hack a lot better than shaving cream.
